To help us resolve your complaint quickly, please include your name and contact details, a clear description of what went wrong, any relevant dates and references, and how you would like us to put things right.
We keep a record of complaints and how they were resolved. The personal information in a complaint is handled in line with our Privacy Policy.
InvestInUK provides property marketing and professional introduction services. Conveyancing and title, tax advice, mortgage and other finance, refurbishment work, and letting and management of a property once it is operational are carried out by independent firms. Each of those firms remains responsible for its own service, and you enter into a separate agreement with them.
If your complaint is about the work of one of those firms, please raise it with that firm first, under its own complaints procedure. Each has its own complaints arrangements, and its own regulator or redress scheme where one applies. Those routes can consider matters that fall outside what we are able to look at.
If you are not sure which firm is responsible, tell us anyway. We will explain who carried out the part of the transaction you are unhappy with, and pass your complaint on where we are able to. Anything that concerns our own service is handled under this procedure.
UniEstate Properties UK Ltd is a member of the Property Redress Scheme, membership number PRS054753.
If your complaint is not resolved after our final response, or if the applicable external escalation period has passed without one, you may refer the complaint to the Property Redress Scheme.
The scheme sets its own rules on when a complaint can be referred, what it can consider and how long you have to bring it. Please consult the scheme's current rules on the Property Redress Scheme website.
Our membership number and dates, and the membership certificate where available, are set out on our Regulatory and Company Information page. You do not need the certificate to raise or escalate a complaint.
Membership of a redress scheme provides access to an independent complaints service. It is not financial regulation and it is not authorisation by the Financial Conduct Authority.
